You can tell which one is about to fire at you, because Nemesis will pull it closer to the platform with a stream of blueish lightning. The other thing to watch out for here is the two floating turrets that Nemesis has on its left and right. Stay mobile by strafing back and forth while weaving in and out of the oncoming orbs. Its main attack is a stream of blue orbs that target you and home in on you, so your best bet here is to hold your right trigger button down while targeting its eye.
In the first phase of the Nemesis fight, you start on a platform facing the Nemesis and two of its "turrets", which periodically shoot lasers at you.
